Who we are at Fanik Consulting
Lasheika has served in various roles within government, community, and court settings to include director, program manager, and treatment provider. Ms. Kassa has worked alongside state and national agencies for the past twenty years to assist with strategic initiatives, human resource policies and procedures, employee training, evidence-based curricula, grant writing, and programmatic support. Ms. Kassa is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice. She also obtained her Executive Certificate in Leadership from Emory University. She is a certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC-II), Medication Assisted Treatment Specialist (MATS), and has spoken and presented at several trainings and conferences. She is a lead trainer with the University of Cincinnati Corrections Institute (UCCI), and has taught the Cognitive-Behavioral Interventions for Substance Users (CBI-SU) curriculum to more than 200 treatment providers throughout the state of Georgia. Ms. Kassa currently serves as Vice-President of the Georgia School of Addiction Studies (GSAS), while also being a member and current education co-chair of the Georgia Council of Court Administrators (GCCA), and the National Association of Court Managers (NACM). Ms. Kassa serves as faculty with AllRise (formerly the National Association of Drug Court Professionals). She enjoys all things outdoors to include hiking, gardening, yoga, cycling and enjoying a nice stroll walking her fur baby on the Atlanta beltline.
